From our base in George, Philip Hoole Architects has served the Garden Route of South Africa since 1987. Although operating principally in George, Plettenberg Bay, Knysna, Mossel Bay, Herolds Bay and Oudtshoorn, we have also undertaken projects as far afield as Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg, Transkei and elsewhere.

We are a small practice and wish to remain so, to ensure that our principal architect, Philip Hoole, is able to involve himself personally in all aspects of each project we undertake. 

Through the years we have been responsible for the design and successful completion of many building projects of various types, including Private Houses, Schools, University Buildings, Accommodation for the Aged, Private Hospitals, Medical Surgeries, Oncology Clinics, Laboratories, Industrial Buildings, Commercial Buildings, Shopping Malls and Office Buildings.

We strive to avoid any particular design “style” and rather allow each of our projects to develop its own character in response to its own unique requirements.
